A client of mine once said to me, “I envy you.”
“Why?” I asked.
He said, “You look like you’re having too much fun.”
To that I replied, “What’s too much?”
He seemed a bit shy about elaborating then said, “It’s not that I don’t feel work should be fun, I’m all for fun. But, I guess I never see any worry in you. Like nothing can go wrong. Maybe even a bit overconfident? You show no fear.”
To that I responded, “If I have to fear what I love to do, then I’ve chosen the wrong line of work.”
